To look at the ol’ man, you wouldn’t know Rick Sink’s restaurant of choice is Smithfield’s BBQ!
Soooo, when Rick is asked, “Where do you want to eat?”
He mutters a “no” to Outback and a “no” to “Red Lobster” but a big fat “YES” to the BEST BBQ and chicken around!
He’s a tolerant man, ol’ Rick Sink – well-loved by his children.
Proof is in the fruit he bears – his children are independent, productive, hard-working, kind, and generous adults – mentored well by their Daddeo.
First-born is Erik – an aeronautical engineer, Lieutenant in the US Navy, flying F/A-18E Super Hornet jets; and second-born is Katy – a magna cum laude BFA graduate, pursuing an acting career in Los Angeles!

There are countless reasons why my husband is total “Dad” package, but the biggest reason has to be how he is not only a phenomenal father to our daughter, but that he has stepped up as the fatherly role for his three nephews when they needed it most. He always puts his needs aside needs and wants to allow others to have what they need or want. I have never been so inspired by another individual to become a better person. I am so excited to see who our daughter becomes as she’s able to witness and learn from her father. Happy Father’s Day
My dad is 91 and for much of his life has been a man of many trades and has worn many hats, which include carpentry, brick masonry, electrician, plumber. He has been so gifted that you could give him a piece of wood and ask him to build a chair and he could do it without actually writing measurements down, that’s how talented he is. He has built several houses in the past. He has been a respected man in the community, a World War II Veteran, a deacon in the church – just to name a few of his accomplishments. Yes my dad has been and is a man like no other.

I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to talking about my daddy being the total package. First, I will start with his name, which is Vernon Edwards. My dad is an AWESOME man. All of his kids are grownup but he is always there if we need him. My dad cuts my grass (free of charge) every 2 weeks. My dad is a hard working man that believes in God first and then family. My dad is not only a great father but he is also an awesome grandfather, husband, son, friend, cousin and employee. My dad is the type of person that seeks out people to do something special for. He is the type of person that will see a couple (black or white) having dinner and will indiscreetly pay for their food for them. I could go on for hours talking about why my dad is the total package but I think that you should get the picture by now. I think that if anyone deserves to win this contest it would be my daddy.

My Father in law is my “father” and he is the total package. My dad passed away the year I married his son. He treats me like a daughter and reminds me so much of my own father it is GREAT!! He is there for me and his son no matter what needs to be done He takes time out of his life to make sure that all is right in our lives! He lives next door so he is just a holler’ away from us whenever we want to see him! He is the best “Daddy” to his own son as well as me (his daughter in law). My husband and I had our own son on my Father in laws Birthday. HE says that was the greatest present ever and he makes me smile every time he says this with all the love he has for us! He is a Godly man and shows us every single day what a Christian lives like…He talks the talk and walks the walk in Jesus!! Please consider him a winner for your contest
