Our location on Western Boulevard in Jacksonville, NC has closed its doors.

Western Boulevard’s last day was Sunday, September 26^th and the location has been acquired by the N.C. Department of Transportation. The store will be demolished to make way for an extension of White Street, the first step in creating an off ramp from the U.S. 17 bypass. For over a quarter century, Western Boulevard has been grateful to serve the customers of Jacksonville. SCNB headquarters estimates that the location, which opened in 1982, served over 1,000,000 meals during its tenure!

But, have no fear bar-b-q fans, we are currently looking for a new location in Jacksonville and the Gum Branch Road location (still within town limits) is still just right around the corner!

Thanks to Camp Lejeune, home of the United States Marine Corps, Western Boulevard has introduced people from all over the world their first taste of authentic Eastern N.C. Bar-B-Q.
