Customers may now order Bar-B-Q and have it shipped anywhere in the continental United States. The Bar-B-Q is the first of many menu items Smithfield’s soon will have available online.

Smithfield’s Bar-B-Q is made Eastern North Carolina-style with a vinegar-based sauce from pork shoulder that is cooked for 14 hours. The Bar-B-Q is handpicked, mixed with the freshest ingredients according to an old family recipe, and then flash-frozen and vacuum packed in an insulated foam container with cold packs to ensure freshness.

Cary, NC: Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q announced their stores will be offering a free banana pudding to voters on November 4 th who wear the “I Voted!” sticker. The offer is the culmination of the company’s efforts encouraging people to vote in this year’s election. Smithfield’s had already completed a voter registration drive for their employees and customers.

“This is our way of showing appreciation to our customers who exercised their right as American citizens,” Smithfield’s director of marketing, Richard Averitte said.
